It is best to start with the collar, from the outside edge to the centre. Pull taut while still damp to prevent corner curling.   Iron cuffs next, like the collar start with the underside, then topside. Fold double cuffs in half, line up cufflink holes then press a crease.   Iron one half of the yolk at a time. Toe of board angled towards sleeve, spread fabric & iron from sleeve to centre join.   Spread one sleeve at a time, gauntlet upward, iron from underarm to top edge of sleeve. Beware of creases underneath.   Collar angled toward the board’s toe, iron from tail to yoke, use the point of the iron around armhole seams.   Pull shirt arm-hole gently over end of ironing board, spread then iron all areas, around the seam & in between buttons.   Fasten top button then hang on coat hanger to air.
